Sore losers especially when it comes to video games. I have a highly competitive friend especially with Ea's college football. If I win he punches me in the arm and takes a good ten minutes to cool off before a rematch. Most times I win again then he really gets pissed. I could do without people that have a false sense of entitlement, totally refuse to understand the concept of personal responsibility, or have a "gimme more" attitude.

Saddly, that is 85-90% of the people I talk to 8 hours a day at my job... and it is my job to bend over backwards and kiss these peoples' asses.

Examples:

False sense of entitlement - "I have been a VALUED customer for 2 years, I DESERVE a FREE blackberry with NO contract!" .... What I wish I could say - "You've been a customer for 2 years? BIG FUCKING DEAL! I've been a customer with my electric company for 10 years, and do I think I deserve free shit from them? NO!"

Lack of personal responsibility - "It's not MY fault I went over on my minutes! YOU should have notified me that I was about to go over!" ..... What I wish I could say - "No.. we give you plenty of tools to keep track of your shit, you need to use them. Does your local gas station call you and tell you when you're about to run out of gas in your car? No! You have a gas gauge for that.

Another thing that irks me is when there is something on the account that has been there for 6 months to a year and they just noticed it and want it all credited back. "Why didn't you call us sooner to let us know that this feature was on your account?" "I never read my bill.. it's your responsibility to make sure my account has the right features on it!" .... Now, I can sort of get behind that to an extent. Yes we are supposed to make sure things are set up properly and we will fix errors when we find out about them, BUT it's a two way street... if a customer don't check his shit, we have no way of knowing something needs to be fixed. We will go back and credit for the last two bills worth of charges, but some of the responsibility is lies with the customers... most don't see it that way and want us to go back and credit for all of it, which leads me to....

Gimme More! - "I've had dropped calls all for the last 2 days! I WANT COMPENSATION!" - my response would be "I'm sorry to hear that has happened and I know how frustrating that can be... I'll be happy to do some troubleshooting with you to get the problem resolved and I'll give you 150 bonus minutes to cover those extra minutes you had to use to to make those call-backs when your calls dropped... and for the inconvenience I'll throw a $5.00 outage credit on your account." ...

. Now, that should be more than sufficient, especially considering 9 times out of 10 we can tell there really hasn't been any dropped calls or very very few of them, but we will still make an effort to accomodate rather than just calling a customer a liar... even then the Gimme Mores just won't be satisfied: "NO! That is not enough for the ordeal I've gone through! I DESERVE A FREE MONTH OF SERVICE and an early full upgrade discount on a new phone!" To which I wish I could say "Go fuck yourself... you greedy greedy shithead... If you read your contract, it states that we can not guarantee full service at all times and all places, meaning you really don't deserve shit...but since we're nice we're offering you something for the inconvenience... you can take it or you can go shit and fall back in it for all I care."
