Hello!

When I was young I remember watching a tv show that scared me to death. I think it was on one of the "Tales From the Crypt" or "Darkside" shows, but I am not sure.

It was halloween night and a grumpy old man is watching a sports game. He doesn't want kids coming to the door and he is known as the nasty man. A troll is seen behind him through the window and it comes to the door. I think it eventually knocks down the door and kills him.

What show is this? What episode?

Thank you so much!!!!!!!

Almost positive it's an episode of Tales From the Darkside, because I remember watching that episode on the Chiller channel last year :hmmm:

It just turned SyFy here. :die: I hope they still have the SciFi Original movie, I enjoy that from time to time.

Good job FrighT.

I do too. Was nice cheese to have on in the background when you're getting relaxed for the weekend.

I just hope that they didnt change their name so they could start doing other movies other than sci fi/horror.

They changed the name because they were already showing films that weren't just scifi, like for instance POS horror flicks. They didn't want to be labeled just a channel that aired SciFi related shows/movies. But most likely doing it now is the result of looking to spark potential new interest from people who hadn't normally watched the channel before.

As far back as I can remember they have been showing low budget horror films on sci fi,the genres are related, what worries me is if they start showing dramas or comedys.

my cable provider lost sci fi years ago, been forever since I seen it but I remember the channel airing leftovers from USA network's rotation. It's hard to call Serial Mom and Flinstones science fiction.

Yes, one of the reasons why the name change.
