any comic book fans reading Blackest Night? Its DC comics and its very very great! Horror fans who don't even read comics would love it! The Black Lanterns are basically evil undead versions of Green lanterns. But its not just in the green lantern storyline. Its all over the DC Universe. Theres a Black Lantern story going on in batman right now and very soon their will be storylines in Superman and Teen Titans.
Like I said any horror fan would love this even if you don't read comics. The undead superheroes look aaaammmaaazzzzing. very zombiefied, yet they have all their powers from when they were alive. I thought this was hilarious in Issue #2. Aquaman died awhile back so he came back as a black lantern. He sends great white sharks to eat people! And it doesn't shy away from anything. This shits gory. Black Lanterns rip out peopls hearts. And in the first issue it showed the POV from the black lanterns. Like when you watch the POV of a monster stalking its prey in a horror movie. Its just sooooo amazing. Even if you don't read comics that much you should atleast pick up issue #1. Its greeeeeat.

I'm loving Blackest Night so far. The panel that showed Elongated Man, and Sue Dibney as Black Lanterns was a great visual, and messed me up. This is going to be a very interesting series. now to sound dramatic. WHO WILL SURVIVE?

from the looks of it hardly anyone! lol. But I think they will use this as a catalyst to bring a bunch of people back to life. I am 100% convinced that we'll see Martian Manhunter come back to life after this is all said and done. It was interesting to see that the black rings actually couldnt raise someone in the second issue.

Damn, I couldn't get to my comic shop last weekend, so I'm behind on Blackest Night issue 2, and Tales of the corps issue 3. Gotta catch up. But thats interesting news if it couldn't bring someone to life, also I want to know the meaning of Bruce Wayne's skull producing black lantern rings. When DC first went off on the whole emotional spectrum of rings I was really concerned on where they were taking GL but, as of right now I'm loving the stories Geoff Johns is putting out.

that would be black hand licking bruce waynes skull LOL. Blackest Night won't end for awhile. I'm wondering if it'll have something to do with Bruce Wayne coming back. Gonna be interesting.

Interesting Good to know that Rathma is an actual being and not some idealology. Also, I plan on reading the Sin Wars haha I just figured that I would start from the bottom.
How many books are there though? 3-4?

So many damn books, here, but I've heard nothing but good things. Seems I always pick the bad mega-crossovers to get into.
Have to go back and pick up some TPBs and HC collections.
Interested to see how this works into Bruce Wayne's return or lack thereof. IF he doesn't somehpow make an appearance, I'm going to be really disappointed if the rest of the DCU heroes don't seem to notice that every f'ing person who ever died came back except for him.
