Had DirecTV - that sucked...especially when it rained...no service.
Have Time Warner now - triple play (Phone, RR internet, and HD cable)
Seems like every week it's something...phone goes out or can't get online one day or a few channels don't work here and there.
Haven't tried DISH and Fios isn't in my area yet. Anyone else going through this shit with their cable service and if so have you found a solution that doesn't require switching over to a new service?

I have Comcast, and so far the only problems I've had is digital break up once every few weeks for a seconds. Also with OnDemand I'll order something, then a few seconds later a message will pop up saying there's something wrong and to contact the cable company, but RIGHT after that whatever I ordered works. So nothing major for me.

I've had problems with Comcast before. Same as Rust, the images would pixelate and would be even worse when there was a storm, like today. I've switched to FiOS and I haven't had any problems since.

No problems for me with DirecTV, but then it doesn't rain very often here anyway

I've had DISH since 1997, and there's been almost zero problems.

Cable works fine for me. All the HD channels come in crystal clear and they all look great on my LCD. I also got the triple-play service. FiOS is in my area but since I got no problems with cable I see no need to switch at the moment.

Have Comcast triple play but it works great, got a free boost in internet speed tiers, and the phone service is spotless. Plus Comcast gave me a cards for about 5 free PPV movies and a $55 card for a free Boxing or MMA event of my choice, which I used on UFC 100 :rocker:
Comcast is real good to me :smokin2:

I've had DirectTv pretty much sucked balls when a storm was in the area.
Time-warner just loves thier price hikes, but service can be pretty bad at times . With thier price hikes , and no improvent on service I gave that up as well.
I see no real difference between DirectTv and Dishnetwork besides maybe price differences so I'm not going to bother with them.
I'm stuck with my 3 or 4 local channels and the DVD player at this point

Haha when I was in either Utah or Vegas this summer, I kept seeing the commercials for that cable provider. I couldn't help but laugh every time they came on.

I've had comcast since pretty much the begining but it hasn't been all that good in the long run. I've noticed that the price has increased and we don't have any of the good channel's if we did it would require just to spend more $ in the end. So were gonna give FIOS a trial run and there coming to install service next Sat and i will be getting HD for my LCD TV plus there channel lineup is pretty much exactly the same as Comcast.

I have Comcast, they suck, on my 2nd cablebox so far and the HD picture quality is garbage compared to Cablevision I used to have.
I'm just waiting for FIOS to come to my area...only a matter of time

Maybe fios is better outside of Ri. I don't know. Just be careful they don't try to pull nothing on you once you have them is all i'm saying.

I have had trouble with Cable,Direct and Dish.
I would like to see one of these providers offer some sort of deal where a person only picks and pays for the channels they want,I think I would only have about 15 - 20 at most then.

AT&T internet sucks. F that shit to hell. Disconnects 90% of the time after 5pm. Sometimes the whole day. Always getting that red blinking light of death on my modem. Gonna switch to Comcast which I'm sure would be infinite times better.

I have zero complaints about comcast's internet or phone, they are both very reliable and fast...the cable service on the other hand...that sucks

Seems like there isn't one really good cable provider.
