I've been on a kick lately where I've been going back and checking out some comics that I missed out on or that I read but never read to conclussion.
Death's Head is one of those characters from back in the day, that I've always got a kick out of, but never read more than a couple comics of. So thanks to the marvelous internet, I've read all the original Death's Head comics, including all his one-shots and crossovers.
For those of you who have no idea who the hell Death's Head is, I'll sum him up... Basically, DH is a heavily armed mechanoid bounty hunter from the future... but he hates being called a bounty hunter... "I'm freelance peace-keeping agent, yes?!"
He is simplistic in his philosophy, "business is business"... He will gladly take a job to kill some schlub, then take a job from the schlub's family to kill the guy that hired him to kill the schlub in the first place.
Originally, DH was created to be a throw-away character for the Marvel Transformer's comic line, hire by Rodimus Prime to kill Galvatron, however the character proved popular enough that he ended up getting his own series and made appearences in other comics at the time.
The character was eventually killed off, to make way for Death's Head II, who absorbed the original DH's personality. DH II is a bitchin looking character, but I feel he lost something that was intrinsically Death's Head. (mostly, he lost DH's trademark speach pattern of adding "yes?" at the end of his statemements and he lost his business is business mentality).
Anyway, if you've never checked out Death's Head, I recommend doing so... He's pretty damn amusing.

Apparently, in 2005, Marvel created a newly revamped Death's Head III, but I haven't read it yet...
