Finally ended up buying one of these things. I was using a SFIV Fightpad since SFIV came out because damn scalpers got a hold of all the TE sticks and were price gouging on Ebay. First Fightpad failed, and the second Fightpad is in the process of failing. I finally had some extra dough for one of these badboys now.
They are readily available now and I picked mine up from Newegg for $130 including shipping.
I gotta be honest, it's gonna take some adjusting to this thing. It's VERY precise in your movements, but absolutely trumps the standard 360 controller and SFIV Fightpad so far. In particular, I'm having trouble pulling off SRK motions. It'll come in due time though.
Also, this thing is a friggin' TANK! It's nice and heavy so it doesn't slide all over the table when I'm jamming quarter circle forward motions. It's also big enough to rest your wrists on, so fatigue doesn't set in as fast as with the SE Fightstick.
Overall, I'm really happy with my purchase. I'd definitely recommend it to anybody who's into fighting games. The price might scare off some folks, but if you consider that this will be your dedicated fighting game controller for at least the next 3yrs, it's totally worth the money.
ALSO, the cord is nice and long. One of the problems with the SFIV Fightpads is that the cord is only about 8 feet long. The gap between my TV and my couch is about 10 feet...so I was forced to sit on my coffee table whenever I used my Fightpad.
