Game was cheap, so I picked it up, Played about an hour of it so far. It's aight. As expected, pretty much WoW all over again. I do like how characters are more customizable and there are some brief in-game movies before quests, which are also kinda cool.
Right now it's pretty much just a grind though, since I'm only like level 4. I'll have to play it a bit more and level more to really get a feel for it, but right now it's basically just WoW.

I haven't seen much, but so far they're aight. I have everything in the highest setting, but so far nothing has really made me look at anything in awe.
There were quite a few moments in WoW dat made me do dat, but of course that's much later in the game. Hoping Aion will be the same.

Aion is so much more visually pleasing than WoW. Is the main thing I loved about the game. And I was having lots of fun doing quests, but, the constant grinding to level got too annoying and time consuming. I chose not to renew the game right after I got my characters to lvl 20 & 21. It is a really nice game though.
Here lemme shows off my chars :P hehe:

I'm like level 5 right now. I'm gonna play until after I get my wings to see how that goes. I still haven't explored enough to comment on the graphics, but so far I think WoW is better in terms of the visual styles of the environment, but then again I dunno how well suited your computer was/is when you were playing both games. For me I'm able to play'em both on the highest settings :confident:

WOW is better, this game is OKAY. I didn't really get into it, and it seems like not alot of people play this game also cuz i hardly see anyone. The graphics are nice and the flying is just a cheap gimmick to get players into the game, which only has maybe 5 minutes of entertainment.
i wasn't impressed.

Another good idea, bad execution MMO that cannot get out of the shadow of WoW. Its a shame. Well, at least Blizzard officially confirmed the rumors that WoW hasn't had population growth since 2008. Maybe WoW will cut back and some MMO will slip out of the shadow... doubtful, but who knows.

yeah, i was a huge Diablo fan so of course when i heard they were making a game like it with a VAST land and with more people i was like holy shit i gotta get it.
and it was amazing when it first came out, i of course made a Person Killer in the game and then they kept doing updates, at first it was hard to earn money to buy a house or anything. Then they made it super easy, i remember i tried it again a year or two ago got a house in 4 days of playing.
also they made it so being a PK had no benefits, it used to be you could kill some one take all there shit, then when u kill them u can't get shit and then they made a PVP land and a non PVP land in the same server. so of course no one played in the PVP lands.
it's a waste of what used to be kickass, and WOW is doing the same thing so i'm told. But i got to catch the beta for WOW loved it, and i played EQ that game was also very cool when it came out.
now the only recent game i've played which got me as interested in EQ and UO was Borderlands (very different game but fun concept).
they don't make games like they used to.
I semi liked Lord of the Rings but the game was really much flawed.
Then Guild Wars came out i bought that and it was OKAY for a free to play semi MMO, but it wasn't all that it could of been. I heard the new expansions did it better, but i wont play that game again.
now i'm waiting for Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic. It looks REALLY cool and i love the original game for the PC and Xbox, it was really cool and it's one of the only turn based RPGS i could really get into becides Luigi and Mario Super Star Saga.
anys MMO's ur looking forward to?

WoW won't go anywhere for a few years. The zero population growth for 2 years is definately a sign of change though and numbers like that definately get the attention of the share holders. If the new expak doesn't draw in the crowds, expect to see WoW get dev team cut backs soon after.
Will be interesting to see how the Star Wars MMO pans out. A wee bit curious how the Stargate one will be recieved. Star Trek's MMO seemed to tank on release date with rehashed ground mechanics from other MMOs and apparently heavy launch date bugs. Space combat and character leveling seems to get high praises though.

that sucks a friend of my works for blizzard doing god knows what for WOW, hopefully she wont lose her job but it's not good job stability though, because games comes and go.

Not suggesting anyone is going to get fired, though it might happen. Blizzard has a habbits of shifting devs to other projects rather than straight out firing them. I know they pulled a few to work on Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3 when they were in early development.

I never even leveled high enough to get wings before I stopped playing. I just didn't have the time for it and the game wasn't engaging enough for me to stick around and pay the $15 bucks a month.
I just want an MMORPG similar to WoW, but aimed more towards adult gamers :dislike:
