Special Edition Splatterhouse Shoes
A classic arcade game from the 80's gets the royal treatment.

November 24, 2009 - When it comes to popular arcade games from the late 80's, Splatterhouse may not be the first one that comes to mind, yet it's developed an almost cult-like following over the years. It was one of the first games of its kind where instead of being an average joe fighting a monster, players were put in control of a mask Jason Voorhees-esque badass that beat the crap out of anything that got in his way. To help further cement Splatterhouse's status to the gaming community, NAMCO BANDAI and GLOBE International Limited are teaming up to produce an exclusive limited series Splatterhouse shoe.
Meant to serve as a testament to all the things that made the game an instant classic, namely intense gore and violence, the shoe features the Splatterhouse logo, skull icon, and of course, tons of blood. The shoe will also serve as a way to promote the new installment of the Splatterhouse series, which will feature the same gruesome combat system that worked so well in our younger years.
The new title will be available in Q3 2010 for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, while the Splatterhouse shoe is already available through selected retailers. Learn more at the Splatterhouse website.
