Anyone looking forward to this upcoming PS3/360 game? I know it's already out in Japan but it drops here in a few weeks. Gameplay looks over the top and awesome.

yeah i've been watching this game but I was never a big devil may cry fan so i'll wait it out.

Good news though is Sega seems to be working on a patch to fix the PS3 long load times an there's rumors going around that Sony is helping with a patch for the graphical issues the PS3 version seems to experience. These fixes may bring it on par with the 360 version

It's pretty much Devil May Cry but with a female character as the lead, but it might be worth getting if you can get it for used at a lower price.

The game's demo was really awesome. I'm torn between this and God of War Collection for the PS3. I'm still messing around with Borderlands, MW2 and L4D2, so really don't have time to buy both of these.

Bayonetta demo was really fun though.

ign gave it a 9.5, and while we can argue the legitimacy of reviews and it's only one review, thats a pretty impressive score for a new franchise regardless.

only problem is thats for 360, ps3 got an 8.2, apparently the ps3 version has a fair share of slowdown and poor loading times...not surprising considering there were reports of the ps3 version running poorly in early previews of the game. so if you can go 360, they still say it's worth a play on ps3 if you don't have a choice though.

the coverage of the PS3's version and it's flaws have been pretty extensive, the 360 version is without a doubt the one to get if you have a choice

Maybe you should try the download of the 360 version shreds, I might give both a shot this weekend

There is no contest between the two versions of Bayonetta. If you have the option, play it on Xbox 360. When compared side-by-side, the PS3 release clearly falls short in visuals, framerate, and loading times. These technical hiccups don’t degrade the experience so badly that it feels like a different game, but there’s no reason to put up with them if you don’t have to.

just downloaded and played both the 360 and PS3 demos, the difference is mind boggleing, the 360 is much much smoother in both visual crispness and frame rate. There were parts of heavy action on the PS3 demo where it dropped big time.

The 360 was smooth as butter the whole way through. I'm still undecided on whether I'd buy it, maybe I'll just wait for the bargain bin and pick it up later in the year.

the demos actually had different content, the 360 had an extra dream sequence in the begining and the PS3 had a witch on witch fight at the end of the demo.

I read a little more, sounds like segas patch is for load times, don't think that will fix the jagged character models or the frame rate

Yeah you did, I haven't even bothered taking it online yet. I'll play the UHM'ers here that have it and then list it up on Ebay. Don't know why they did this to Tekken but this game is a garbage fighter now. Which is really sad considering Tekken was my favorite fighting game series but this doesn't even feel like a fighting game, talk about scrub city. DOA is better :myhead:
