I don't know, a reboot of saw. Really, why ? It's kind of beating a dead horse. One way would be to give the back story for 'Jigsaw', and then end where part 1 begins. If it actually becomes a reality, I'll watch it, once.

I did enjoy Saw and part II, the genre was in need of something refreshing and new. IMO after part II the franchise became forgettable, I haven't seen Saw III and part 4 in years. Why should I bother with the others?
Maybe I forgot something, but Jigsaw's story was already told. With every sequel we got a piece of the puzzle and by the end of part...7..or 8 or whatever the fuck was the last sequel, they pretty much told us everything about Jigsaw, his apprentices, his plans and his motives. He got cancer, went mental, started doing horrific death traps and as the sequels progressed became more and more retarded with trap concepts and he always had a hidden plan. What's there left to explore?
I cant wait until we get over this stupid "reboot" phase.
Don't hold your breathe, because it's not going to happen anytime soon
I would rather watch Tobin Bell get a Colostomy Bag than a reboot of Saw or any more Saw sequels, prequels:puke:
The next Saw, just got its director(s). The Spierig brothers (Daybreakers) just signed on to helm this.
I don't think anyone knows if it is a sequel or a reboot of the series yet :whew:
I stopped watching these half way through Saw 3. Useless movies IMO.
The original is genius however.
Me too Mac...after 3 it was over for me.
100% agreed on the 1st one.
Didn't really care for Daybreakers either.

It's good to see the movies looking like actual theatrical releases again and not low-budget nonsense that snuck its way into the theater.
I hope James Wan is back on board for this reboot
Do you think jigsaw killed any chance for further films? It's box office performance hasn't come close to previous sequels
Nah Jigsaw killed nothing, the franchise was dying way before Jigsaw was even on the drawing boards. But it probably would have if the franchise was thriving
