The Death of Superman Lives What happened?

Ever wonder what the real story behind the cancelled 1998 film Superman Lives is? This is one great documentary it has interviews with a lot of the people who were involved with the pre production such as Tim Burton and Producer John Peters and Kevin Smith who wrote an early draft, lots of behind the scene footage to. Quite honestly the film they were making sounds a lot more interesting than what Superman Returns ended up being. Apparently Brian Singer was bad mouthing the production while he made his film, I'll take Tim Burton and Nicholas Cage over Brian Singer and Brandon Routhe. Superman Returns was one of the most dreadfully dull films I sat through in a movie theater. At least Superman Lives was attempting to do something different and more exciting rather than try and make an homage to Richard Donner and try and recapture his magic.

I loved the designs for Braniac and his ship. I really want Braniac to be a baddy in the current DC films.

The only thing I didn't like was Nicholas Cage casted as Superman. Nope, it doesn't work for me.
