Sony is planning an animated Spider-Man movie that they've said will be unrelated to the MCU connected movies. (AKA not the same spidey as in Civil War and Homecoming)

I'm a big fan of Miles in the comics and this twist makes me excited for this animated feature!
Yeah this is really cool. I havent read alot of Miles Morales, but i dig his costume.
Also Phil Lord and Chris Miller are developing the script and producing. This is a bonus because every thing those guys touch seems to turn to gold. Im definitely looking forward to this.:thumbup:
I agree hack. I admittedly was a Sony nay-sayer and thought they had fucked up Spidey enough that I was happy to see them come crawling back to Marvel to get Parker right. But hearing this news of an unconnected animated Spidey film with Miles as Spider-Man actually has me interested. I would totally watch this, and I haven't watched an animated movie in theaters since Toy Story 2.
