This was amazing! :whew: :D
Yeah this easily slides into my top 10 favorite films. It was emotional and the best in the series. I have no other words to describe it. I absolutely loved it.
pretty good flick. You wanted to get up and cheer sometimes and thats always a plus. I'm a comic book purest so it aggrevated me they basically took the comics, wad it up and threw em in trash BUT all in all it was still a good movie. I hope in a few years someone does a completely different take on Batman
Loved this film. Enjoyed every moment of it.
Loved every minute of it.
Finally caught this -- really liked it. Dark Knight is still superior (mostly due to Heath Ledgers amazing performance) but this was still pretty solid. Though, it seemed more like a Bane movie than a Batman one, since Bane and Bruce Wayne were in it a lot more than Batman himself. Felt it was a bit lengthy at times, but it kept my interest for the most part. I'm also glad they didn't go the cheesy route with Catwoman. Overall, a good end to the trilogy.
Batman Begins: 7/10
The Dark Knight: 9/10
The Dark Knight Rises: 8/10
Personally it's my favourite Nolan Batman flick. I love the amount of hellish chaos Bane brings to Batman, and the city. I love TDK but I think it's overrated due to Ledgers death. Bane was just so brutally awesome and seeing Batman be a bitch was awesome.
My ONLY complaint with the film was that Batman didn't die.
I honestly can't think of a moment during the movie where i can remember enjoying myself. It's not bad, not really anyway. Just not up to par with what it should of been. I'm just glad that Nolan is done with batman. I want someone who actually likes comics and all the cheese and fantasy that comes with them to direct the next batman film.
I agree all points.. and as much as people are all moist in the crotch about Ledger's performance as Joker, and it was good psychotic fun, it just wasn't quite right, from this comic book nerd's view-point. I must emphatically agree that I'm looking forward to someone directing a Batman movie that wants to make it larger than life and fantastic.. a comic book movie..
For all the hype, in the end, I would've preferred to spend the time I used to watch The Dark Knight Rises to watch The Avengers again.. That was a properly made comic book movie.
I think the Dark Knight Rises is the best film in the series. Dark Knight was a little too dragged out for me. It was just one thing after another. By the time the Joker got all the hostages on the boats, I was looking when it was going to be over.
As for the Avengers. Each time I seen it, I disliked it more and more. Except the ending battle. It was brilliantly done.
My favorite film of 2012. Loved it.
TDKR is definitely the weakest of the series but an ultimately satisfying finale to a great trilogy. I like the films the best the order they came out. The thing is BB and TDK would top my movies of the year lists in their respective years of 2005 and 2008 whereas TDKR would make it around about mid-list. I thought 'The Avengers' and 'Dredd' were the better comic book films overall. I've only watched the first half hour of 'The Amazing Spider-Man'.
