Just finished the sci-fi drama Counterpart, starring JK Simmons as a man who gets caught up with this whole conspiracy involving his double and a parallel world. Really well written show that's interesting right from the start. There's even a decent amount of action in each ep that adds to the already interesting storyline and characters. Highly recommend checking this out if you're looking for a new original drama 8/10 :thumbup:

Good show across the board, and I dug it from the start. It gets deep enough to get you thinking and keep you on your toes, but not overly so where you feel like you can't tread water down at the deep end. Recommended. :thumbup:

Finished season 2 and what a ride. Solid writing backed by equally solid performances kept it on par with season 1, and in some ways even topped it. It'll be a shame if somebody doesn't have the sense to pick up this series and continue it considering how much garbage out there keeps getting renewed.
All in all I really don't have anything negative to say about Counterpart. If you dig on some solid script writing highbrow scifi with a decent amount of action and intrigue, then you should check this out. Very highly recommended.
Agreed, really good show and great finale. Up until the last scene I would've said it was a good end of the show, regardless of whether it got picked up, but now I've gotta see what happens next after what happened at the very end. Hopefully Amazon or Netflix scoops it up :sweat:
