Haha, course not but he was responsible for a few deaths to further his game.
He could have arrested the killer but he chose to track and torment him, all the while the serial killer was doing his day job. Lots of people ended up dead or traumatized because the super hero mega cop wants to hunt his wife's killer again and again.
Don't want to ruffle any feathers Darkgod but it was a fucking irresponsible agenda?
And that was the whole idea of the movie... who is the bigger monster, the man who kills women for gratification or the normal everyday guy who tracks down 1 man over and over again, and instead of killing him tortures and torments him.
Watched this 4 times simply brilliant.
Another great film, in fact by the end of this film it left me breathless...
Just watched this on Netflix. Not sure if its the uncut or not. Really enjoyed it. I was hoping he'd draw out the ending a bit, but I guess holding the guillotine rope in your own mouth would constitute torture.
I've heard of some of the other movies associated with these actors (Oldboy, A Bittersweet Life) but I've never had the chance to watch them. I'll be keeping my eyes and ears open.
Oldboy is fantastic
Should give the Vengeance Trilogy a look :2thumbs:
I was just researching it online. Oldboy, Lady Vengeance, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance. They all sound good. I'm surprised by the selection that Netflix has to offer. Not nearly enough of the hard to find stuff, but there are a few. I've been using my friends account, but I just may have to sign up for one of my own. The only thing that sucks, is that if I see something I like, I still have to track it down for ownership somewhere else. Just like my books, I like to have a physical copy I can hold, and take with me to a friends house.
Man From Nowhere. Your search is over.
:2thumbs:
Netflix has improved quite a bit over the years. Their streaming selection is pretty damn good compared to how it once was. There are a lot of HD versions of old 80's horror flicks that normally wouldn't have HD transfers too. They also offer a good selection of k-dramas and foreign films. I'm pretty happy ditching cable/satellite and just having Netflix :rockin:
K-drama?
Korean television dramas :stare2:
Still gotta buy this movie on BD
This was a truly amazing revenge film. Awesome. I always recommend it to anyone who can stand some violence.
This was a great movie, going into this i just seen the rating from IMDB ( i don't read a lot of their reviews) and was not expecting what i saw. Great movie no doubt.
Those are some good ones as well. I loved "Mr. Vengeance". Was sad though, but a very good movie
