Really good flick--Depp is great, and incredibly intimidating in the role. Nice to see a solid gangster movie again, however there's nothing really remarkable about it that makes it stand out above other gangster flicks in the past. Aside from that, solid flick. 7/10 (high 7) :2thumbs:
Looking forward to this one....I plan on going to see it by myself during the week (afternoon) in an empty theatre. LOVE flix like this.

Really wanted to check this out and when I finally did, I was kinda disappointed. I mean it's a decent movie, but nothing special. Johnny Depp was the best part. Just felt like the movie dragged a little. At least the 2nd half of the movie got better.

Depp was the whole movie...he alone gets a 10/10 from me but like Fright said there's nothing really extraordinary about it. Kevin Bacon was a nice surprise.
