I watched the Original PULSE it was pretty boring
from what I can remember, I actually did though
wanted to see this one.
Haha, I saw it at the 7pm showing the opening night in theatres. We went to John Tucker Must Die at 5pm. Both movies were in the same theatre. After JTMD we ran back to the box office and got tickets for PULSE, thinking it would be packed opening night. Only about half the theatre was filled.
Overall, decent flick. Two HOT leads
It's a weak PG-13 film, though. I'd prob. buy it if I found it for $5.
If this movie were a person it would rape your head. Piece of shit.
Yeah you made the right choice. Pulse was shite. I have not seen the original so can't comment on that but the remake was crap.
Exchange it for The Old Dark House
Its a rarity that Hollywood can remake an Asian horror and come close, or *gasp* surpass, the original in atmosphere, scares, or overall story. And when you are dealing with a film that was weak in the Asian version, like Pulse, the Hollywood version is doomed to fail from the word go.
Pulse (remake) is not complete crap. But, to be honest you'll likely be looking at the STOP button on your remote fondly more than once during this rather dull and lackluster attempt at technology-based horror.
If you got it free or are watching it on Starz or on-demand, try it out, not like its costing anything besides 90 mins or however long it is (feels longer...). Definately avoid buying it outside of some 2 or 3 movie bargin bundle pack or some similar setup.
The scariest part about Pulse (remake) is they have 2 sequals on deck for this flick.
The movie does suck, but Sabbath Bloody Sabbath is my second favorite Sabbath album. Fluff is amazingly soft.
I kinda like it, to be honest.
Granted I LOVE the original.
Remake isn't very good, but I liked it a lot more than the original. The Japanese version was so disappointing, so many people went on about it being one of the greatest horror films of all time, and couldn't keep from nodding off.
Wish i had not of bought it.

Good choice for the exchange koolmike. I would have probably gone with The Old Dark House though.
Have it on VHS somewhere.
took my girl to see it when it first came out...at first, it was ok i guess, but the ending destroyed the movie, i was upset that i wasted my money...BUT if you have a gf (or bf) that doesn't like movies that are too scary to see, but would like to watch one, then Pulse would be good.
