They really should have stop making these movies after part 2.
loved the first one, the second is watchable, the third it resorted to blastfarts to make the god awful cg looking things fly, never saw the the 4th(always a bad sign when they do a prequel that far into a series) and there was a TV show? I love most things down under, but I think I'll wait with this. Only saving grace is if they bring back Kevin Bacon and do a spoof on the plot of Jaws 4...with the parent or baby of a worm he blasted hunts him down in Aussie territory. No, wait a minute that is just plain dumb. Hollywood would never go for that.:rolleyes2:
First one is one of my alltime favorite monster movies. The second one was suprisingly enjoyable, because they still used a lot of puppets and animatronics and things. The rest were just ridiculous. Ass blasters??? Give me a break. CGI ruins franchises.
I managed to talk to the guys at Universal briefly, I asked them why they'd do a 5th film. There responce:

This could turn out to actually be a pretty good movie if they get someone to write the script right. IMO It should be a little more darker and straight up horror than the others, but still retain a little of the humor of the series. Plus, they gotta lose Burt. I love the character, but it needs some fresh faces to work right. And no Aussie Burt clone either!!
OR
It could (and probably will be) just another "campy" sequel with some kind new mutation that's almost as rediculous as the last one.
IS my mind playing tricks on me... or was their a flying tremor?
This is a senseless good time. Seen all of the movies, missed the tv series, but I can't wait to see this one. It'll probably debut on USA or Sci Fi or something.
I liked the first one with Kevin Bacon. The second was okay. I don't think I've seen any of the rest. It has a cool concept for the right director/producer to make something out of it. I guess I would watch another one.
