Doesn't mean he's dropping horror. "The big guns" might give him a chance but his name is synonomous only with Cabin Fever and Hostel and current horror. If this big movie he's planning fails he'll be running back to writing horror movies in no time.
he said that he isn't dropping horror and gore at all. He just wants to do something else for a change. Can't blame him for that. Although I hope he doesn't sell out and stop doin gore flicks all together. Cuz his movies are only so so but he's good with the special effects. And he said what he wants to do was inspired by movies like Cloverfield, that still falls under the horror genre. I just hope what he does is better than that movie.
Maybe Uwe Boll's comments got to him :wideeye:
:spit:
We could only be so lucky...
Meh...nothing wrong with trying something new.
I'm curious to see how this turns out.
It'll probably suck like all the shit he tried in the past.
Damn, I was hoping for a Hostel Part III. :ahheh:
I hope he never makes another horror flick, let him fuck up some other genre.
I thought Cabin Fever and Hostel are worth a watch.
I wouldn't mind rewatching Cabin Fever since I haven't seen it since it came to DVD.
Hostel II was the worst movie of the year though.
i didn't like cabin fever. i thought hostel was alright. i haven't seen hostel 2 though.
Hestel 2 is alot worse.
I liked Cabin Fever more than Hostel, but that's not saying much.
