saw this when i was a kid

:hi: the scene i remember is very vague but there was a group of people running through a house and they run to the second floor. I cant remember if its a female/male that falls through the stairs to get cut in half from whatevers underneath. They get onto the second floor and a man baricades the door by sitting against it. A knife comes through the door and kills him. I saw this sometime back in the late 80s early 90s. Any help you be appreciated.

i seem to remember the people jump out a window and the field is filled with cops. The monster follows and is shot by the cops.

Describe the monster?

He almost had a Jason look to him but without the mask i think his face was really burnt or disfigured. I think he had coveralls on but i cant remember

I just watched the trailer and the house looks damn familiar so ill check it out and get back to you on this one

sorry wasnt mad man took me awhile to find the actual movie but im pretty sure it ended with a guy and a girl jumping out the 2nd story window running out into a field of policemen. The badguy soon follows and is gunned down hope that helps.

Sorry guys wasnt Jason goes to hell really cant remember to much else but the scene where everyones running upstairs really stands out someone fell through the stairs and gets cut in half

Does anyone know? because this same exact question I am trying to figure out as well...Please if anyone knows!

some of it actually sounds like the ending of the original nightmare on elm street, but then some of it kinda sounded like the remake/reboot of friday the 13th also, got me kinda stumped here. I am pretty sure ive seen it before though, because i remember watching something a long time ago with people running up stairs, someone falling through, and jumping out the window, seems like there was also a fire involved though.
