Aside from Re-Kill the films so far are looking terrible
After Dark did have some decent flicks through the years. Pretty sure Re-kill was the one that was supposed to have been released 2 - 3 years ago, but disappeared leaving them with only 7 films for the year. It looks like some questionable cgi but I'd probably get it anyways. Big thing I really liked was Best Buy's deals can't remember what it was exactly, but I believe it was something like $50 for all 8 films
Wasn't Gravedancers part of this shitfest of movies, in the bunch with Mulberry Street that had the rat zombies? That movie was halfway decent until the God awful, huge CGI ghost-hand coming out of the ground ending. If that's a spoiler for anyone...good. I saved you from 75 minutes of waiting to get there.
They had some decent films in the bunch, but a majority of them where sheet
I liked Wicked Little Things, Autopsy & Husk. Of the ones I watched, anyway.
Mostly seems like 4/8 are decent. Hopefully they get better with these 8 films to die for.
Ive only seen 3 of the titles released so far. Well read about em. Still need to watch the trailers yet.

As the staff of Good Friends Church Camp prepares for a spring break filled with "Fun Under the Son", a demon logger rises from his sap boiler to wreak his vengeance and feast on flapjacks soaked in the blood of his victims.
Looks like Michael Madsen is in this

:negative:
That movie managed to be annoying from the trailer alone!
Madsen is looking for anything at this point. According to IMDB he has 11 films completed awaiting release or in post production right now :stare2:
Judging from After Dark's current lineup it seems like they just don't give a shit anymore
Did they ever? All I can recall is that they found a new gimmick for selling their semi decent movies, and lied all the way to do it telling us the films were too gory and scary ....of course most of us didn't believe that line. Looks like they're still trying to milk that dead cow
Agreed, although like mentioned before they had some decent efforts from their past lineups. Aside from Re-Kill (which was filmed years ago) this current lineup has nothing worth watching and there's still 4 more potential POS's to go :dislike:
Even with Re-Kill...how good can it possibly be with no other studio snatching it up to release it after all these years? Just look at the complete crap that has been released in that time-span!
I usually end up watching all these films anyway despite not enjoying most of them.
Re-Kill - looks like some good post-apoc zombie killing action
Murder in the Dark - curious about this, trailer doesn't give much away, though
Wicked Within - looks hilarious, with bad overacting
Lumberjack Man - looks terrible

“Emily is a high-school student with a penchant for drawing gruesome pictures in her sketchbook. There’s a reason for her obsession with horrific images: Her father Tom once went on a murder spree and is now residing in a mental hospital. On a night she’s home alone babysitting her mute little brother, Tom escapes and targets Emily and her friends during a bloody killing rampage.”
