It looks like it has some interesting ideas, but aside from that it looks pretty MEH. I'll check it eventually, but won't be expecting much.

I think this would have been better had they left out the CGI god "transformations" and just left them as the actors. Now it seems more like a power rangers show than a serious movie.
It looks more like a video game with all that CGI than a movie.

Two movies with the best CGI I have ever seen (or didn't see if you know what i mean) are San Andreas and Into the Storm. San Andreas was expected to be great effects but Into the Storm could actually be even more impressive. The movie is horrible but those effects are jaw dropping.
I wonder if this is what happened to the God of war movie?
Here's hoping it's at least better than those shitty Clash of the Titans movies (no, not the Harryhausen original).
Anyone seeing this? It's getting lukewarm reviews but it still sounds good to me.

The movie is actually okay if you go in expecting lots of CG and a shitty story. It has some interesting ideas, but they just didn't quite know what to do with'em. And as bad as some of the CG is, there are actually some scenes that have pretty impressive CG. It was just inconsistent, which leads me to believe maybe there were differen't companies working on the effects? I dunno, either way, I'd give it a low 6/10. It's cheesy and mildly entertaining, but if that's all you're looking for then it's an okay watch.
