Tyler Perry :myhead:
Looks OK I guess.
I have been reading up on this. Apparently it is a very dark, morbid film. We all know David Fincher can deliver on that front, for that reason alone I am interested for now.
Agreed. I'll be catching this for sure. Only problem I'm having is Ben Affleck....he's hit or miss with me. We shall soon see.
I thought he was excellent in The Town. I think his main problem is some of the roles he takes on.
I've heard good things about the story itself, but if I had just seen this trailer out of the blue, I don't think I'd be interested.
Movie looks decent, but why cast Tyler Perry :nervouswreck:
It's Fincher, I'm sold.
I'm reading the book right now, a little more than 100 pages in and it's gooooooood. Basically, this guy, while being upset over the disappearance of his wife, has no clue how to handle it to convince everyone else he's worried. It's how he was raised and his personality that prevents him from going by the numbers in a missing person case. There's a line in the book that goes something like, "You'd even kill to convince people you're a good guy."
For those of you worried about Affleck, he is the guy for this. The character Nick Dunne in the book describes himself as having a douche bag face you want to punch, so, there you go. As for Tyler Perry, so far his character is just a plain ol' cop, so maybe there's nothing major to his role. If there is, however, it could be Fincher being awesome as always and doing something only he could, making Perry a likeable actor. :D
Not much of a trailer. The song was an interesting choice.
I was mistaken, Tyler Perry is not playing the role I thought he was, but still, I trust Fincher. You know who is gonna be in this? Emily Ratajkowski :fapper:
read the book which was great, couldnt put it down so looking forward to the film even if i do know what will happen!
Afflek is good when he can play a boston, normal guy... otherwise he is pretty bad.
Pretty good flick. Even Tyler Perry was decent in it. Starts off a bit slow, but has some interesting revelations half way through that changes things up quite a bit. I didn't know much going in, so I was a little surprised by what occurred. 7/10 (but a high 7) :2thumbs:
