It used to air on the Sci Fi channel back in the early 90s all the time, but I think the show was originally a Canadian show which might have also aired on the USA Network. It was similar to the X Files it was about two paranormal investigators getting involved with all kinds of monsters

No it wasn't Twin Peaks it didn't have an going story it was just weekly cases
Millennium? It came out in '96 and was from X-Files creator Chris Carter. Had a similar tone and starred Lance Henriksen.
Aside from that there were a lot of scifi/horror-ish shows in the 90's that were similar, like GvsE (Good vs Evil), First Wave, etc..
I'm pretty sure this show predates The X Files by a few years if that helps
The only thing i found that predates xfiles is from the late 70s. Would it be the late 70s? Im very curious about this because i loved these shows and i have no idea wtf youre talking about nor can i find anything on it.Quote:

Absolutely Friday the 13th the series. Has nothing to do with the movies and was a decent x-files type show investigating monsters and cursed artifacts.

Sorry but it wasn't any of the shows listed I did some researching on the other shows I remember Friday the 13th the series watched that one all the time. I found the name of the show actually by searching a wikipedia page for every show USA Network aired and it's a show called Beyond Reality. Thanks for all the help and suggestions
