I was always waiting for the DVD release, no chance in hell it would be playing here.
I am lookingforward to this one.
Gateway Movies 8 (Federal Way,WA)
Looks like I'm the only one that got lucky with this film, that theater is in in my town, so I'll be seeing it this weekend. The strange thing is that theater is the Bargain theater, all the movies there are $2, maybe it got moved to the regular theater in the mall across the street. Still Lionsgate sucks for making it a limited release.
YOU GUYS HAVEN'T HEARD?
LIONSGATE ONLY PUT THE MOVIE IN DOLLAR THEATRES.
You guys at least get it in your fucking country. Canada gets jacked for these small horror releases. Was planning on the DVD release anyhow, since I knew it wouldn't play anywhere near me.
FIDO is an awesome Canadian movie.. actually some of the best horror movies are Canadian.
The new douchebag producer at Lionsgate started scrapping releases on a number of films, and "Midnight Meat Train" happened to be one of them. I was STOKED for this movie's release. I've been waiting since last year. And now I won't even get to see it on the big screen.
:shrugs:
Crap...No where near me.
Fuck this
I have been looking forward to this movie for ages.
How much do prints of movies cost?
Cause I have some money saved
and I know for a fact it's $300 to rent a theater.
wow...
I live in a town of less than 100,000 and we have a dinky little dollar theatre (it's Valdosta, GA and wasn't on the list earlier posted) and I just saw where it was playing and thought i'd check it out.
Well, the least I can say is that you're really not missing out on much. The gore is pretty entertaining but I would have been PISSED if I actually paid 10 bucks at a big theater for this steaming pile.
EDIT:
although I must admit it was entertaining to text "let's go to the Midnight Meat Train at 9:35" to all of my straight friends and have them think I was inviting them to some big gay party.
And for those of you in Georgia, I have found it's also playing in Augusta, Lawrenceville, Warner Robins/Macon and Duluth as well. http://www.georgiatheatrecompany.com...how_movie=3276
Not surprised this sucked. Good films usually recieve wide releases.
