The Woodland Torture Trap tells the story of 4 film students who go into a Halloween haunted forest to film a group project for their class. With 2 of the students under the influence of psychedelic drugs and the other 2 dead set about finishing their project, the tension between the students grow into something that produces an even bigger threat then they could ever imagine. Who will escape this tale of sheer madness and what will become of those who do not?

This may seem rude but delete that pitch video. Its you standing in front of a tv, and not nearly as interesting as watching paint dry.

Takes place in the woods? Get some lights and a fog machine and shoot your pitch out there. Put some sizzle on it. Look at Hitchcock's classic Pyscho trailer where he stood outside the bates motel. If youre going to use indie gogo or kickstarter, really sell it.

Also dont mention the camera you are shooting on or want to shoot on. Every loves to brag about using shooting on the red or arri alexa or the fisherprice PXL3000 as if that adds production value. Knowing how to use the camera and what to put in front of it adds production value. Plan 9 and Citizen Kane where both shot on 35mm film cameras. The camera is not what made one better than the other.

I dig what the story is about, you came up with an interesting idea and a really cool name for a title Frey.

Now that sounds like that would be fun. Although, I wouldn't want to get in trouble for trespassing so I would get permission first.

Thanks for the feedback but I have dropped the project because everyone keeps dropping out and I cant keep a cast or crew that is willing to see it through.

Sorry to hear that. Bummer. Maybe you could use the story & the ideas that you had in mind for a movie and make a horror book instead.
