Don't Wake The Dead
Goremeister Andreas Schnaas' (Violent Shit, Demonium, Goblet of Gore, Nikos the Impaler) latest/upcoming film. It seems to be getting pretty decent reviews so far.
Here's one:

"A group of women, hired to assist with an impromptu concert, spend the evening at an ancient German castle. Unbeknownst to them, they've chosen the worst night on Earth to visit, as every sixty-six years, the long-dead bodies of Templar Knights buried there have the chance to wake and feast upon the living..."

Being a huge Schnaas fan myself, I can't wait for this.
-
Looking forward to it, I haven't liked all of Schnaas' work but I loved the hell out of Nikos.
-
I think this movie might make people accept him a little more. Atleast I hope it will.
-
Until Violent Shit finally gets its mainstream distribution from Synapse. Then people will go back to hating him. :D
-
You might be right :shakehead
The fact that he's the nicest guy I've ever met made me a even bigger fan, and I have always been a fan since I first saw VS 1 & 2.
-
I'm very jealous that you got to meet him but then again I'm not as big of a fan as you are.
Have you seen Goblet of Gore?
-
It was a shock how nice and normal he was. He was almost embarrassed that there was people there who actually wanted to meet and greet him.
I have seen the first part, and the end, of Goblet of Gore. I loved the theme song
Have been waiting to finish it till I have the DVD. I did get a signed Goblet of Gore poster from him though :D
-
I think Cartman said it best. "Tit."
It's funny to think that the guy who made the Violent Shit being shy/embarrassed by having fans.
-
Yeah I was expecting him to be acting like a dick and stuff, but I was way wrong.
-
This is a great watch. I think the gore is awesome. Not a fan of Goblet Of Gore but I fuckin love Nikos the Impaler!
-
I actually liked and enjoyed Nikos probably one of the few although i did also like some certain parts of his Violent Shit films too.
-
Violent Shit II: Mother Hold My Hand is my favourite
-
Sounds like he is re-doing "The Blind Dead" movie(s) of the early 70's.
-
You mean the Spanish movies with the dead templars?
-
-
Thank you for the answer. I've seen one of those movies a long time ago and enjoyed it pretty much.
-
I got the small hard box of this and have to say I enjoyed it. Cannot talk too much about as only experienced it once so far. Will say it does have an influence from The Blind Dead series which to be honest most certainly isn't a bad thing, in saying this Schnaas does make it his own.
