Yeah screw Avatar, not even going to try and watch it.
Looper though I thought was great, borderline excellent.
Looper was a decent movie. I'll probably have to watch the Riddick movies since space wants to see the new one.
Riddick movies are a lot of fun
The new Riddick is highly disappointing. Riddick is no longer the anti-hero he should be. He is now a super hero hybrid with slapstick/comical violence :dsp:
Spill the beans on Rian Johnson. What did he do to lose your support? Is he just an all around prick?
I was engaged to this girl who, before meeting me, had gone on a couple dates with Rian over a couple weeks before she broke it off with him because he was kinda creepy, very clingy and made her feel like she was out with an old man. Anyway, he was still pining for her. I couldn't blame him for that though, I mean, she was young and beautiful and the spitting image of Zoe Lund in Ms. 45 but one evening, after we've been engaged and living together for nearly six months he calls and invites her to go away with him. I'd have been in jail that night if she'd told me how to find him and I still don't know what I'll do if I'm ever in the same room with him. I guess it will depend on my "fear and desire". Fear of jail. Desire, still, to throw him a deserved beating.

Either. Though I'm sure most people like the original more. My appreciation for Mel Brooks goes as far as Young Frankenstein and History of the World Part 1, though I don't know that I've seen that one since I was a kid. I liked Silent Movie when I was nine or ten but haven't seen it since. Likewise with High Anxiety. I'm not a fan of Blazing Saddles and non-naive camp in general, which is a big reason why his overall style of humor tends to annoy me. Young Frankenstein though, I love that film.
