giant spider for the win!
Peters got his wish of Superman vs. a spider in Superman: Doomsday. Never give up on your dreams, kids.
Was this Burton's take on his electric blue look they gave him for a while around turn of the century?
I mean, horrible doesn't begin to describe that.....
...Zack Snyder to use that design....
Looks queer.
Terrible!!!! And I sure as hell can't picture Cage as superman.
That's the gayest suit ever.
Well....

Nicolas Cage... Really.
He named his kid Kal El, he loves comics and will attach himself to almost any adaptation.

I watched this doco last night. Hearing about all the ideas they had and the concept art, it would've been at the very least, unique. Also had a great potential to be awesome, just like Tim Burton's Batman movie. Everybody judges this movie because of that stupid photo of Nicholas Cage in the Superman suit (the actual suit is pretty cool and was clearly copied for Man of Steel). The cancelling of this project is a testament to the fact that HOLLYWOOD HAS NO BALLS.
Hopefully they get around to making this one day.
I ordered this, waiting for it to come in
I guess Burton started working on this after he was released from the 3rd Batman film. His take didn't see the light of theaters because the studio kept meddling in his concept.
