Digital 3-D is nothing like the 3-D of old. They had the trailer before Beowulf for the very first live action Digital 3-D film. I can't wait.

I think Beowulf used a newer form of 3D. My brother tried to explain it all to me -- something to do with really extreme frame rates and polarized lenses.
Red/Blue 3D is probably only a novelty these days.
No, red\blue 3D is still the basis for Digital 3D. When we went to see Beowulf, they forgot to turn on the blue, so during the 3D previews the screen was a light red and all shaky. When they finally switched on the blue lens, everything came together.
I hope is in REALD 3D. Like they did for Beowulf. We had to wear those clear 3D glasses. I like the clear digital glasses better then red and blue.

I Would Love An Fd4-3d, But I Want The Surivors From Fd 2, To Return & Get The Boy Surivors From The Frist'. I Want The Surivors From Fd3 To Live And Make Death A Human Figure. A Prequel Back Story On Death & Death's Was A 15 Year Old Boy Who Just Got Stabbed Burned & A Finger Cut Off By Teenagers. It Was Like He Teamed Up With A Evil Force, But He Didnt Mean To Be Bad. Thats It, But Fd4 Is A Horredy,
Not Pure Horror , Horror With Comedy.

FINAL DESTINATION producer Craig Perry confirms that the opening disaster in New Line Cinema's HD 3-D sequel will in fact be during a high-speed race car crash where an object will fly into the stands killing (or just missing) some of the audience members!
In addition, he tells is that that the high-def 3-D technology they're using is the exact same system as the one James Cameron is using for AVATAR. He explains that they're going to be very careful about how they use the 3-D in the film. "Having something pop out at the audience every four minutes gets boring," he explains. He wants to use the 3-D to add depth and drama to the film, which if done like MONSTER HOUSE can really add to the experience of the film.

Sounds cool to me.
they should drop the 3d. other than that, i'm shaking in my boots with excitement.
I dunno. I'm not a big 3-D fan but if it's used sparingly it could be cool.
I think the high-speed race car crash is a good idea for a 3D movie.
i wish it was a beer pong massacre
3 was crap. Screw this.
I loved the first Final Destination. The story was awesome. The deaths were methodic and brutal. Final Destination 3 was the shit. It had a good story and great deaths. FD2 sucked ass. The opening deaths were cool as hell, but it quickly went downhill soon after. The only shocker I thought in 2 was when the teenager died.
^^FD3 was SWEET. But had little story. The movies really rely on their creative deaths now.
Nick Zano has been cast.
