That's because the idea of Jason in the snow was pitched for part 10, before sending him into space.Quote:
To be fair I thought this was an old post because I heard about this somehow a while ago
great not another 3D movie
I goddamn hated the remake!!! Am I the only one???
 Yes.
The winter idea is so long overdue.
Its about time they start legit discussion on an actual concept for it.
It sux that they only want to have the snowy setting for a limited amount of the run time.
Part 10 is the only one I really can't watch all the way through.
All of the Paramount movies are watchable and have things about them I like over the others and vice versa. JGTH is also somewhat watchable as is FvJ but X is horrific.
It took re association regardless of what the re association was with Paramount for them to put together another back to basics flick in the series with the remake. The only thing I wished they would have done is incorporate some of the Manfredini score in key moments. I felt it could have used some of it instead of the generic amped chase music you hear in most of these today.
I liked 10 a hell of alot more than 9
part 9 was like the Halloween 3 of the Friday the 13th series. I liked it as a stand alone movie but probably shouldn't be part of the F13 series. Much like Season of the Witch. :straightface2:
3-D????
how fucking original!!
shouldn't they wait for the 3rd installment to suck that tit though???
that would suck if it was in 3d
Yes, a Christmas that everyone could be happy about, I think a Friday the 13th in snow would be a great idea plus it would give the story a little more real feel to it. Lets be honest after the re-make Jason should be recovery from what happened to him meanwhile recovery at this time it could about during the Christmas vacation period a bunch of stupid teens decide to rent a cabin near Crystal Lake for their school vacation with this Jason seems trespassers on his land. Yes there will be blood in that snow cone.
I think he said he wanted a snow cone
X>IX
GtH is the shittiest
What makes the ninth film so ridiculous is that it's called "The Final Friday." So they actually wanted us to think that after buying the rights to this successful film series, they were only going to do one movie? And then they have the audacity to set up a sequel at the end. Granted it took ten years for this sequel, it's still a clear case of New Line trying to make more money off of the title.
They knew that if it were just called "Jason Goes to Hell" it wouldn't make as much as adding "final" to the subtitle. Of course you're gonna put more asses in seats by having it appear as Jason's last stand. Movie studios, I fucking hate them.
