I guess there has been a ton of cuts to this film and different versions. This final cut will be uh..I guess the final one and include everything that went missing in the previous versions. Will be hitting dvd/blu-ray on October 14th

I love The Wicker Man. Interesting movie. I still got Willow and The Maypole stuck in my head to this day.
Film looks good. Looks like they remastered it and removed all the grain. The extended version I saw was really bad quality.
Wait, wait, wait. So it's only returning to UK theatres? :(
This has been released on bluray. I'll be checking it out soon. I've still only seen the shitty extended cut.

I've never seen it. Neither version. Looks like I'll have to check them out.
I actually don't mind the director's cut. I remember seeing a version where they added 5 minutes or something before he even gets to the island.
If it's like The Shining extended cut, I'll pass, because I don't need to see all those pointless scenes.
