It's my least favorite of the 3. (I'm not counting Necropolis or Rave from the Grave.) I think that without the Trioxin storyline, it's basically a Brian Yuzna zombie film. It almost is out of place when placed next to the weird horror/comedy aspects of the first two. Especially since this one is through the eyes of a zombie, not people trying to escape the brain-craving masses.
I still enjoy this film. And the serious tone is nice, acting well done and the gore is great.

It wasn't a bad movie. I enjoyed it. I'd like to see a competent filmmaker take the series over and make a Return of the Living Dead 4. Let's just ignore Necrapolis and Rave from the Grave.

Pretty cool, I like the main chick in it.

I'm always on the fence on this movie...the last 2 times I watched it I started to like it more. The first time I saw it I hated it. I haven't brought myself to watch necr or rave but from what I hear 3 is better.
I loved 1 and thought 2 was a decent follow up (even a little funnier but not as good of a horror flick) 3 just loses the ROtLD charm...maybe would be a good standalone zombie film but matched with the other two I think it falls short.

Doesn't fit. Thats all there is to say about it. As a stand alone zombie flick, its above average... but putting it in line behind 1 and 2 and it just doesn't feel right.
Necro and Rave are not even worth mentioning. Made for sub-par tv dribble of even worse quality than many Sci-Fi originals merely made to cash in on the name of a love series name.
