The Dark Tower...I pretty much hated this all the way around
I haven't seen it yet, and don't plan on a theater run. I'll wait it out. There wasn't anything about the trailer that made much of an impression on me either.
Also... I don't have a problem with character race changes in general, but coming from somebody who has read the series it didn't seem like it made much sense to do so with the main character; especially when considering the gratuitous amount of racial banter that takes place in print between the inner circle of the companions.
Racial tension between Roland and Susannah was more than a fleeting slur within the novels; it was integral. Often in the form of jest, but definitely with a fair amount of bitterness as well - especially those times when Susannah happened to be in full-on schizo Detta Walker mode.

New Korean film that is getting alot of hate but I found it colorful, odd and did not grasp what the fuck was going some of the time but fuck, the people were gorgeous.
