Hmmm either way I'd rather see this than another Saw sequel. And the fact the Jason runs is a good thing to me, it's something new. So far I'll be seeing it, it can't be that bad.
They showed the trailer before checking Saw V and it actually looks pretty good on the big screen better than expected.
Zombies dont run, and neither should Jason Voorhees..... UGH
i'm interested in this movie. i'll check it out of course even if i wasn't i'd be checking it out as i know some people i know want to see it which means i'd be dragged to where ever its being shown, but either way the trailer looks interesting
After Jason X, you can only improve. I'm looking forward to it.
I know hes not a zombie.... I was saying zombies dont run ( meaning tradiitonal zombies) and neither should he.... Ask anyone if he runs, and they will say no. To make him run just makes him like any maniac you see on film now. Its the same thing like Zombie's Halloween. Don't give Meyers a history, you just made him like every sterotypical serial killer and took away what made him good.
This actually doesn't look bad at all! can't wait to see it!
Ask any hardcore fan of the series and they'll tell you he ran in Parts 2, 3 and 4.
Myers ran in Rob Zombies Remake?Quote:

Myers had a history both in the original series and the remake.Quote:

While i don't think Jason should run, I will say that when he bullrushes that bitch on the ground, it looks extremely badass. Almost gives me goosebumps.
He didnt run in 2, 3, or 4....
I didn't say Meyers ran, I said it is like in Zombie's Halloween... its a traditional sentence.
Meyers had a history, but not a fucking stereotypical serial killer history. He now looks like an serial killer on a discovery channel documentary. Now he comes from a single mother, whose new husband is alcholic and flirtatious with the young women in the house. There are money problems, hes anti-social, he hurts animals. I mean c'mon, in the oirginal he was such a bad ass cause their was that mystery to him.
I'm thinking of going dressed up as Jason to go see this. :hmmm: But it would have to be zombie Jason, cause I'm not shaving my head for one night. I'm pretty sure there is some mask that covers the back of your head, giving it that rotted flesh look.
:die:
I suggest watching them again. Jason clearly chasing Ginny in the finale of Part 2. Jason clearly chasing Chris in the finale of part 3. Jason clearly chasing Trish in the finale of Part 4.
I suppose you could say he wasn't speed running. However he clearly wasn't teleporting like in Jason Takes Manhattan nor was he just speedwalking like he was in Jason Lives or moving in a crawl like The New Blood.
He clearly was moving fast in the earlier entries.
Merely pointing out that there was a history in both series. No matter the differences.Quote:

But you took the part of my sentence... and ignored the later half.

Making Jason run or move fast makes him like Myers in the Rob Zombies Remake?
Jason moving fast was a staple of the first few movies he was in?
No argument that the backstory in the remake wasn't great.Quote:

jason def. runs in 2,3,4 n00b
i can close my eyes visually picture Chris(part 3) in the van and jason is runnin towards the van as she desperately trys to start it
