Indiana Jones 5
Disney is moving forward with a 5th Indiana Jones movie, where Steven Spielberg will apparently direct once again and Harrison Ford will reportedly return. A release date is set for July 19th 2019, but aside from all that a script has yet to be written.

I dig the movies, and even enjoyed the last one to some extent, despite being really bad and cheesy at times. And that ending :myhead: But I'm down for another movie, especially if Spielberg and Ford are back.

Somewhere right now Shia Labeouf is screaming "Do it...just do it!"

Looks fantastic to me! I love the Millennium Falcon easter egg in that trailer as well

To be honest, they should have just recast Ford. Make Indy like a James Bond and pass the mantle down. I'm getting sick of nostalgia for nostalgia's sake. If you've got a good Indy story hand it off to one of the Chrises in Hollywood and call it a day.

Movie isn't too bad. It starts strong and ends above average, but the rest in between is your standard cliched stuff. Though, you kinda know what you're getting into given everything they've shown in the trailers. Didn't care much for Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character or the kid that tags along for no real reason (a short round wannabe). Mads was great as the villain and it was cool seeing some old characters back, even if just for fanfare. Overall, it's fairly entertaining for the most part, despite its flaws and it's better than the last movie, in my opinion. Low 7/10 from me :whew:

I'd give it a 5.5 maybe a 6 if i downed a couple of shots. Little to nothing interested me in this installment, and IMO it really didn't need to be made, and maybe bit too long of a run time hurt more than helped. It's better I think in some circumstances to just leave some relics uncovered than it is to have a free boarding pass on the cash grab train. IMO this was one of those times, and it's easy to see why it kind of bombed at the box office.
Still though it was kind of nice, and a bit nostalgic to see some of the old familiar faces stop by and phone it in, helping it along to be worthy of an ok watch, but i'm glad to see it wrap up finally. It easily has a certain level of entertainment value, but that being said I seriously doubt it'll be anything i'll ever watch again.
