Anyone playing the new Spider-Man game?
I just got it yesterday and played for like 15 mins basically just got the Kingpin "intro" done. Pretty fun so far I liked dicking around with the swinging mechanics and the combat is pretty good right off the bat.
It's one of those game that seems like in the first 5 minutes your feeling your way through but after 15 mins you're right at home.
I have gotten all of the landmarks, found all of the backpacks and done all of kingpins construction areas. It's an extremely fun game, but it can be very frustrating. The web slinging is a bit clunky at times and the brutes take off so much damage. I swear, I'm pressing O to dodge incoming attacks, yet I get hit anyway.
I love the challenge and the story is a lot of fun so far.
Edit: Oh, I'm sure I just suck at it still, but you kind of gravitate towards buildings when you don't want to. There is a mission where you chase down a criminal and I ended up failing it twice. The first time is because I swung too close to a building and he started crawling on it and I couldn't get down in time. The other time is because I swung into a lamp post and there was a random pedestrian walking next to it and he wouldn't web to a building lol. Other than that, it's a great game so far. It's gorgeous looking
Game looks fun. I will get it eventually. I have too many games I still have to get to though. Damn work cutting into my gaming time. :cussing:
Strapped for cash right now, but I plan on buying a PS4 sometime this year and this'll be the first game I buy.
still holding out for Red Dead before I really buy anything else...they said this is the best the web swinging has felt in a LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time. It really does look like something i will pick up once the price comes down though..

I've gotten some more play time in and all I want to do is play the game. Once I decided to upgrade some of the swinging mechanics I absolutely fell in love with traveling through the city. I have a blast just roaming around, getting backpacks and landmarks, fighting random crimes, and just interacting with the city. I see myself 100%ing this game eventually.
Played through the first DLC pack with the Black Cat missions. I did all the story and side quest stuff in two play sessions. It was ok, hoping the next two DLC packs are better.
I beat this last night, easily one of the best games I have ever played! I pushed myself through it the past week as I wanted to complete it before TLOU2 hits this Friday. I just have some side missions, challenges, and research quests to mop up then I will have Plat on it. What a game!
It really is a great game, I keep hearing that the Myles Morales PS5 will be more than just an addon, maybe a complete game. I hope so because it would be the PERFECT opportunity to have a Spidey that is developing his powers and upgrading through the whole game.
The existing DLCs arent that great, not really worth it IMO. This is the only PS4 game that I got the platinum.

Sony Announced Spider-Man Remastered is hitting PC, along with Myles Morales shortly after.
I'll gladly double dip on this one as I loved my first play though so much.
Alright Sony, now quit dicking around and give us Bloodborne PC!!
