An old late 70's/80's horror film

I only remember three particuler scenes. The first scene is of a boyfriend and girlfriend who problebly just had sex in a kitchen, talking about some girl who's a virgin, the girl is cooking something and turns arround to see her boyfriend dead, then looks at the camera as something is caming at her. The next scene was someone doing some bizzare transformation scene and someone watching close by, they grab some gasoline, drench him in it and set him on fire. The final scene I remember was the ending, which was a close up of a girl I think laying in bed crying and then it fades to the credits. Sound familiar to anyone?

Any chance you can elaborate on how the boyfriend was dead? Gutted, throat-slit, decapitated, just laying there dead, what?

Any extra visual details at all, for any of the scenes you mentioned, can really make or break this... :2thumbs:

I think his throat was cut and I think the girl was in her underwear. Don't know if that helps.

:hmmm: ... it all sounds damn familiar...

One other detail I remember was there being a lot of Black backdrops, like there where shadows behind or arround the scenes as they happened.

Just bumping this with hopes someone remembers.

Could it be Pledge Night perhaps?

Sounds like the opening of Friday the 13th.. not exactly but the memory can play tricks on you sometimes.
