Is A Night To Dismember as bad as Fright makes it out to be, giving it 1/10? I'm considering buying it pretty cheap.
I want to start up my 70's horror collection. Now besides black christmas and of course halloween what do you guys recomend? So far i have suspiria, last house on the left, i spit on your grave, silent night bloody night, the texas chainsaw massacre, the wicker man, and phantasm. Suggestions?
The Sentinel,Deep Red,Alien,Jaws,Dawn of the Dead,The Exorcist and The Bird with the Crystal Plumage.
The Omen, Carrie, The Amityville Horror, The Hills Have Eyes..
Even has a nice little softcore lesbian scene.
I have to recommend The Spanish film called Tesis. It's basically about a student who views a snuff tape while doing a thesis on violence in the media. She shows it to another student who recognizes the girl in the video tape as a former student that had disappeared several years ago. Then these two end up digging in too deep and end up in deep shit danger. Anyways, this is definitely on of the most interesting and suspenseful horror/thrillers I've ever seen. highly recommended.

This ones worth a watch:
The Driller Killer (1979)
An artist slowly loses his mind as he and his two female friends scrape to pay the bills. The punk band downstairs increasingly agitates him, his art dealer is demanding that he complete his big canvas painting as promised, and he gets into fights with his girlfriends. When the dealer laughs at his canvas he snaps, and begins taking it out on the people responsible for his pain and random transients in the manner suggested by the title.
