Oddly, I have never seen either Hellboy movie. And, um, Pan's Labyrinth was everything you knew it would be after reading the back of the box.
Hm. I did think that Blade 2 was probably the best of that series, however.
So, okay. The guy has the eye and the visual style. His one dip into Marvel Comics territory made me not only forget what an awful movie Blade was, but turned me into a fan of the series.
This might just work.
I was surprised by Hellboy, it turned out to be a kickass movie. So I'm really looking forward to this one.
I've not heard any news anywhere else, but if it is indeed true I'm all for it. Especially if Guillermo is doing it. I think he's a real good Director. I could see maybe Liam Neeson or Guy Pearce playing Dr. Strange. Or maybe Geoffrey Rush. Course they'd probably go with a younger guy.
Always loved Doctor Strange.
This may be true but the date is wrong, he just moved to New Zealand for 4 years to shoot The Hobbit back to back. So IF this does happen it wont be till 2012, sorry for the bad news.
Resurrecting a super old thread to deliver the first trailer

Looks interesting :hmmm:
Hey, who knows right?
Antman was surprisingly good, and Doctor Strange is an interesting character w/an interesting origin story.
Im just wondering when Disney will have enough money to simply buy the US and start editing history books.... theyll call marvel comics and star wars "historical documentaries".
I know nothing of the character, so I'm pretty much going in completely fresh
not sold on this-looks ok
Marvel Studios has earned enough good faith for me to gamble on a ticket. I wasn't sold on Antman either and I ended up liking that so I'll see this. Plus I think Tilda Swinton is fucking amazing and I think eggs Benedict Cumberbund is a good fit for the character.

Sitting at a 98% with 42 reviews at RT right now. Really looking forward to watching this when it comes out.
me too
This was the trippiest and wildest super hero film i have watched! Saw it last night on amazon, loved it!
Didn't really know anything about the character going in, but I ended up liking the movie overall. Some nice visuals and some amazing fight scenes. 7/10 :2thumbs:
