A small-town couple find themselves stranded in an unfamiliar, and unfriendly, big city. Weaving in and out of the proceedings are a bunch of murderous criminals with names like DOA, Ice and Slash. The couple are in for a night that they won't forget.
Richard Thomas plays the lead guy in this film. This is a made-for-TV movie though, so there isn't much violence here. And to be honest the gang isn't very menacing either, especially since at first it just seemed like they were just messing with the couple. It is pretty interesting though, especially since the couple traverse through the city quite a bit.

Survive the Night aka Night Hunt is a made-for-TV drama chronicling the courage of three women who must leave a New York freeway to get gas in a part of town so bad that even the police avoid it. Once there, they end up fighting for their lives...
This is another made-for-TV movie, but it actually had decent violence (unlike Final Jeopardy). The pacing is pretty good, but it's clear the budget wasn't really there since a lot of scenes looked like it was just filmed on a small set. The lead villain was also cartoonishly over the top. I still liked it to an extent, especially the end where the women had to make a final stand against the gang. On another note, it was amusing to see a young Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (The Wire) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss) in it.
