It came out during the time when many studios decided to make a lot of underwater films and all of them bombed. This one was a rip off from 2001 and had a vindictive computer named Toby killing everyone in an underwater base. Does anyone remember the name of it?

Thanks but it isn't virus. In this film it was a bit more subtle it killed people by turning off the air and other subtle things. There is a scene where a lady is doing a work out and the computer turns the air off on her so she suffocates.
So...... the computer is basically a redneck Hal?
The movie i am playing in my head is hilarious but i kinda doubt its accurate.
Thank you MST3K! the name of the film was Lords of the deep and the computer didn't go rogue it was being used by the commander of the base to to kill the crew to cover up the fact aliens exist or something. But the film was indeed lords of the deep
