The LA Times reports that 20th Century Fox has given the go-ahead for a sequel to the hit film Taken, starring Liam Neeson. The first film's screenwriter, Robert Mark Kamen, is set to script the follow-up. No word if Neeson or director Pierre Morel will return.
If neither return then this sequel will be an instant FAIL in my opinion, as if the idea of a sequel wasn't already one to begin with. :negative:

not necessary, but I'd be lying if I said I wouldn't enjoy seeing another movie with Neesans character in it.
The only thing I can think of is the CIA needing hes expertise on some sort of new secret mission :shrugs:

If Neeson returns and they go a different route with it, not just him tracking down a family member again... I'll be there on opening night... Neeson was just a total no-nonsense ass-kicking machine in the movie and I would dig seeing him reprise the role.
No need for it, but expected it once this movie was gold at the box office.
Does make me wonder what they could do?? Someone out for revenge so kidnaps the daughter again?
