What about Soylent Green?
Yes Soylent Green was people, but it was a cover=up by a company and government because food was becoming scarce. It's not like people were hacking up bodies, and then eating them. So for that reason I wouldn't consider it a cannibal movie
Ya, your right man. I forgot it's not really a cannibal movie, i thought it was decent tho.
Here's one i just saw a couple weeks ago and forgot about called Hillside Cannibals. That movies very terrible and boring, i really woudnt recommend it.
Here's more i seen but i just cant seem to remember them much (there probably kind of boring since i cant remember them) Jungle Holocaust, Mountain of the Cannibal God (i think theres a midget cannibal on this one?) or it could of been the emannual one., Masscre on Dinosaur island (piece of crap one), Cannibal Holocaust 2 (this ones really boring), Cannibal Holocaust the beginning (was about some army in the jungle i think? was bit better then holocaust 2 i think)
Cannibal - Anthropophagous 2000, an i seen Anthropopphagus 1 an 2. cant remember what else right now.
I have copys of these i havent watched yet:
Cannibal Apocalypse, Man from Deep river
Cannibal Ferox still the F'in best cannibal one i seen still tho.
Cannibal Apocalypse was great, Ferox sucked imo.
We Are What We Are
About ten years ago, I was on a big Cannibal movie kick... so, I've seen a lot of the flicks in the genre... many of which were pretty forgettable... here's a list of the ones I can remember (I'm leaving out the obvious, Cannibal Holocaust and Cannibal Ferox).
The Mountain of the Cannibal God (aka Slave of the Cannibal God) 1978 - Features Ursula Andress's tits and Sargent Stadanko himself, Stacy Keach.
Man from Deep River - (aka Sacrifice! aka Deep River Savages) 1971 - One of the flicks that sort of kicked off the cannibal movie craze)
Jungle Holocaust - (aka Last Cannibal World) 1977 - The cannibal flick Ruggero Deodato made BEFORE he made Cannibal Holocaust - has a pretty similar theme to Man From Deep River, but is quite a bit more violent.
Eaten Alive! (aka Eaten Alive By Cannibals) 1980 - Kind of a cross between a Cannibal flick and Jonestown cult flick... some good quality carnage to be found in this one..
White Cannibal Queen (aka Cannibals! aka Mondo Cannibal aka The Cannibals) 1980 - Directed by schlockmeister Jesus Franco... the movie is pretty god-awful and cheesy, but it amused me... and the "white cannibal queen" was pretty damn hot....
Cannibal Terror (aka Terreur cannibale) 1981 - I don't remember a whole lot about it... Pretty much remember thinking it wasn't worth the money my wife spent on it... (we got it from a bootleg vhs site, in those dark days before bit-torrent...) but I don't remember it being terrible... dunno.. :shrugs:
Hope that gives you some stuff to look for...
Thanks guys :2thumbs: good stuff. When I get down to Melbourne I will pick some of these up as I know where to find them. Thanks!
So, two cannibals are walking through the jungle, when they come upon a man lying on the ground...
They're both hungry, so they decided to eat him.
One cannibal says "How do we split him up?"
The other says "I'll start eating the head, you start eating the feet and we'll meet in the middle!"
They agree and start eating...
A little while later, one cannibal says to the other "How are you doin' down there?"
The other replies "Oh, I'm havin' a ball!"
The other says "Damn! You eat fast!"
:stare:
oh, :puke: thats some nasty nuts eatin maniac there man.
I was looking for that copy of cannibal apocalypse to watch tonight but it turns out i already watched it before but didnt remember it.
It was an ok movie i guess, but i still like Cannibal Ferox the best, with all the mean jungle cannibals an all.
Oh, and a whore get's hung up by here flappin tit bags on ferox man, makes it the F'in Best!
I'll check out Man from Deep River maybe tomorrow.
g'day fellors. :bye:
 That's just plain nuts WarBeast :elstare: :D
Cannibal Ferox
Cannibal Holocaust a masterpiece. :2thumbs:
Antropophagus :confident:
I really enjoyed Eaten Alive! and agree with the mix of cannibal and Jonestown comparisons, i thought it made it at least a little more interesting then just "city people lost in the jungle".
Just saw Cannibal Apocalypse. More of a psychological thriller than a straight out exploitation/horror. Doesn't have any zombies, either. Still alright, but not what I was expecting.
I liked Cannibal Apocalypse
