Disagree. I think of the bigger name remakes (those, plus TCM) Friday the 13th was the worst.

I agree that Jason reboot was far FAR better than Freddy. Freddy was just pure shit thru n thru!
^ yep same here. The Freddy remake was not good.
I'd have to say I did somewhat enjoy certain parts of the new Friday and RZ Halloweens. As a whole they weren't very good though.

Attachment 24416 This is pretty much the only way I know how to make it through watching that Nightmare reboot:2thumbs:
:jason::metalbang::jason:
^
The Freddy remake was bad... just ... bad...
But OMG, the bells and the tunnels of the Jason remake were so Fing stupid.
Paramount has the opportunity to make this right. So, how to do it:
1. Don't do another mashup of a number of films to get new audiences acquainted with Jason, pretty much everyone's seen the originals, we knows who he is.
2. Bring back the original feel to the films - that 80's slasher feel that made it so successful
3. Start a franchise story again with stories that pick up from where the previous left off
4. Bring back Tommy Jarvis
5. Do I dare broach the Nightmare Warriors Comic plot lines of Freddy vs Jason vs Ash?
So i just seen that Paramount pushed this back to March 13th 2016, yup big surprise there seeing how they dont even have a script done.
I could not agree with this more! I want to feel like I am at the theaters in the 80's when I watched this one!

thats funny joe....that last one came out on my bday..
Saw at AICN:
"There's always been this supernatural aspect to these movies. It defies logic that, you see Jason get killed in every movie, including ours, the 2009 one. And then he comes back and no one's ever really investigated what that is. So that's something that I think about a little bit. Like it is supernatural, but what is he? Those are the things that we're toying with. Nothing has been decided. But those type of things: How does he always come back?”

Lol yeah i saw this.its from an interview published by Esquire  the funny thing is that in Jason X the military was investigating the fact that they couldnt kill him, and even Freddy vs Jason acknowledged he had a gift,"that no matter what they did to him. He could never die"
Maybe Fuller or that other Platinum Douche, whichever one did this interview should really go back and watch some of the series seeing how they're producing the same series. Regardless dont fuck up the formula. If it aint broke dont fix(change) it
Obviously, they never watched a single film in the series. Its evident.
Parts 2-4, he was guy who survived some pretty heavy wounds, but then died in The Final Chapter defintively.
After that, every resurrection was circumstantial that brought up Zombie Jason. He never comes back if Tommy Jarvis doesn't fuck with his grave.
Part 6 - Lightning bolt
Part 7 - Carrie resurrecting the wrong person
Part 8 - Electrical wire in the water
I don't bother after that because the New Line films are all pretty garbage with no real connective gel to any of them.
Epic fail.
They should actually watch the original movies/sequels. :dislike:
Two words:
tard strong
"How does he always come back?”
He's Jason. End of story.
At this point, it's really the only answer we need.
All he needs to come back to life is his mothers love.
Of course everyone has wondered how he comes back all the time (even when slightly explained). The problem is, the answer will either be so ridiculous that it does nothing but helps kill the franchise. Or it adds a new layer of semi interesting bullshit that will..... help kill the franchise by the second movie.
How about they do a new crossover AND explain everyone else's ability to return as well.
Jason dies, goes to the waiting room from Beetlejuice, Freddy's there, Chucky, MM, Leatherface, etc. and then they use a "get out of jail free" card to be sent back to earth.
Wham, bam, thank you mam. I just gave you a better story line then the bullshit New Line would come up with. Lemme guess New Line? "He makes a deal with the devil" oohhhhh ahhhhh what a surprising twist and turn!
They should have a cat shit on Jason's grave to bring him back to life. Hey, it worked for Freddy with a dog pissing on his. Just saying... :hehe:
Have they not seen Jason goes to hell......
It was actually explained in Jason Lives, it was a bolt of lightning ala Frankenstein. So just like Frankenstein's monster, he is indestructible and can never die. :soadeto:
