Agree with steelba. Hatchet was decent at best. Nuthin special. Shouldn't be hard to match it.
Remove the forced humor that isn't funny, and play it straight.
well casting the guy who was in Granma's Boy took me out of the element
he wasn't going for the "80's look" just the mindless hack em slash em type...you can't always keep comparing...or else you'll never like new movies. Remakes those you can compare...I agree remakes are ruining the movie industry....
I do think Hatchet could be a running series like that of the 80's...people may not like it but he def has the makings to keep it going as a long runing series. More so than Saw does and they are signed on for like 13 total films!
Well I don't expect you to understand 80's slashers very well, and apparently you don't.
My Bloody Valentine 3D was a throwback 80's style slasher, whereas Hatchet was a modern low budget cheesefest. Many of the film makers in the 80's "tried" to make the best film possible, given the budgetary constraints. Some ended up with a bad product but, it wasn't intentional. Hatchet on the other hand was purposely made a Piece of Shit. They really didn't try to do the best they could, as it was glaringly obvious. That's one of the biggest differences n00b.
ignore Steelba. Its what I do. He hates everything and hates on people who don't have his opinion.
ok :finger3:
:happydance:
:stare: Umm... OK... I enjoyed the first 1. It was just a fun watch the idiots die kinda movie.
I'm looking forward to this.
I'll be checkin' it out.
Like I said you don't understand the period or it's films, add to the fact you like modern travesty's like 'Laid to Rest' and you're opinion has no merit.
yup when I watch a movie like that I watch for the death scenes not story..I know this before watching it....but you're not allowed to have opinions here at UHM with steelba...someone claiming to know it all...prob in reality doesn't know shit cause he sits on his comp 24/7...prob makes you feel like a big man to disagree with everyone when they say anything...such a fuckin dick for no reason
