Horror film about Alien transmissions in Radio

We have exhausted the Internet trying to find a obscure horror/scifi film about alien transmissions in radio. Or at least from another dimension. I recall the trailer referring to the Long Delayed Echo phenomena that some Norwegian thought were messages from another world in the 20's. I know it's not either version of the recent "Signal" films, nor the Lovecraft inspired "Banshee Chapter". Beginning to wonder if the trailer on the straight to DVD horror film we were watching (no I don't recall) was for a film that never got finished. Any thoughts?
If it helps it seems I recall the short trailer ends with claw marks in the sky.

Almost sounds like Ponty Pool but thats a zombie outbreak caused by radio transmissions

We thought so too but my partner and I remember it referring specifically to discovery of LDE phenomena. Good suggestion though as I've never seen this film.

Banshee Chapter was mentioned in the orignal post. Good suggestion though. Considering it was also connected to Whispers in the Dark, but I am fairly certain the film revolves around early 1900s as the trailer eludes or at least takes from the Jorgen Hals LDE signals in 1927 or so. We actually checked Banshee Chapter out but it wasn't the film I was thinking. If I could remember which modern horror flick DVD we saw the trailer for I'd probably nail it. It would have been around the same time that 7500 and that other airplane with monster in the sky flick came out abut the octopus creature. I suspect the movie never actually got finished. It seems also that it was foreign horror flick, sometime between 2009 and present. I even thought it might have been Iron Sky or one of those but seen trailers for all of them. It's maddening. I know we didn't make this up. :)

When you mentioned it being foreign the first movie that popped in my head was the low-budget French film Dead Shadows from 2012, but that has more to do with a comet than a radio transmission :whew:
