TURBO KID 9/10
Turbo Kid is the best Sci-fi/Horror movie to come out of nowhere which hams up a cheesy 80s essence from the start to finish, also bloody, graphic and satisfying!

Exactly the same for Roth, minus the music. Both of these guys have huge faults with their films. If you run RZ's movies back to back with no interruptions they could all pass as the same shitty, practically un-watchable movie.
Roth's films on the other hand have a little more going for them but are ultimately brought down by what I call "Roth-Humor" and terrible dialogue. The Green Inferno is the perfect example. Not sure how he can try to put humor into a movie involving cannibals but he does. It's not funny and doesn't work.
Both of these guys should be shipped off onto an island and be forbidden to make anything else :2thumbs:
No way would i put Roth in the same boat.
He has at least done good stuff and more importantly, he shows he understands actual movie production (instead of long glorified music video's with a completely stolen directors style), directing and writing.
All RZ seems to be able to do is steal from another director for whatever movie he is doing at the time, inject his music video experience and then thats about it.
1000 corpses is nothing but Texas + Zombie music video. Devil's Rejects? 10% Texas + 10% Music video + 80% Natural Born Killers. And the Halloweens..... oh my god. This guy clearly didnt even understand those movies, let alone is capable of remaking them.... i akin this to George Lucas giving Yoda a lightsabre... Neither understood the characters they were writing.
Demon's Rook - 2013 - 6/10 - fun demonic movie, fantastic special effects and a dumb plot; I recommend it
