The Shape of Water
Tiger on Beat (1988). An old favorite HK action flick starring Chow Yun Fat, Conan Lee and Gordon Liu. Worth watching for the climactic kung fu chainsaw duel alone.

Thor Ragnarok - 9/10
Holy fuck Thor Ragnarok was good. I enjoyed the hell out of Spiderman as well :whew:
Psych: The Movie (2017). Re-watch. Big fan of the show, thought it was a lot of fun to see the gang back together after three years off the air. Minus Tim Omundson, who unfortunately had a stroke prior to shooting. As a result he only appears in one scene, looking, of course, like someone who recently had a stroke, poor guy. But they're planning on making more, so he'll have his day. Looking very much forward to the next one.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Batman Gotham by Gaslight
Free Fire
Diverge (2016) -
Watchable post apoc/time travel flick that follows in the vein of 12 monkeys, and gives noticable nods to Blade Runner. A bit of a slow burn and standard fare here though and offers nothing new really, but still nicely done and beautifully shot. If you dig on the premises it's worth a look.

Dogma
Robowar (1988). Full-on, unapologetic rip-off of Predator starring Reb Brown as the leader of an elite commando squad lured into the jungle to wipe out some rebels, only for his group to be hunted by a superhuman killer (not an alien in this case, but a cyborg). The similarities are blatant and numerous, with director Bruno Mattei and writer Claudio Fragasso (and his wife) lifting entire scenes and word-for-word dialogue from Predator. However unlike most films from Mattei and Fragasso, this one's actually entertaining in a way, as you basically get to see how Predator may have turned out if it had been filmed on a fraction of its budget and cast with a gaggle of no-name actors (Brown's the biggest star in the flick, which isn't saying much). I've been aware of this film for years but never bothered with it, as the names "Mattei" and "Fragasso" are automatic turn-offs for me. But it was on B-Movie TV earlier, and I couldn't find anything else to watch, so I said to hell with it, kicked back, and spent the next ninety minutes wondering why the hell Mattie and Fragasso were never sued by John McTiernan. 3/10
