The Boogens:
Creature feature from 1981. Some men have come to re-open a mine and release the creatures trapped inside. Really enjoyed this one. Have copied onto my cable box, would definently buy if I see on DVD.
Martin, from George Romero. says this is his favorite movie. Felt it was really well done and enjoyable. A non-traditional tale about vampirism. Just talking about it is getting me excited to see it again:2thumbs:
I really enjoyed Session 9. I have a soft spot for creepy old asylums. Unfortunately, the hospital featured in the film has since been destroyed... :wavecry:
The OG version of Martyrs is fantastic for anyone who hasn't seen it. Also, "The Last Slumberparty" is incredible for a laugh; cheese and schlock galore.
Session 9 is good
The Orphan Killer
The Defiled
The Dark Hours
Aaah! Zombies!!
Fantastic movie. Great spin on classic genre conventions.
Pretty dumb-arsed for me to mention but 'Zombie Flesh Eaters' aka 'Zombi 2'. In a lot of ways this is my favorite of the Fulci Zombi movies, which is saying something. The whole island setting has an air of hopelessness! The shark vs zombie scene! Eyeball penetration! Flesh eating! O...M...G!!!
This movie is mutherfucking AWESOME
Slumber Party Massacre 3 is a hidden gem and relatively unseen - just skip part 2 for the love of everything holy
.....so I'm having a movie night(with booze) this saturday with a cute girl I know at my place...and I wanna do her later on during the evening. She's into horror movies and has seen a suprising amount of them.So I need some top notch recomendations.I myself was thinking of watching The Tunnel.
:hmmm: I personally liked "The Tunnel', perhaps some 80s stuff would be sweet. How old is she?
Night of the Creeps, The Blob or anything else with a certain 'date' aspect to it. Maybe the original Friday the 13th.
She's 23...I was thinking maybe some lesser known but very awesome new-ish movies. From a late 90's/early 2000's -today period
I'd suggest The Lost Boys...
While she gets wet leering at Jason Patric you can enjoy the film!
I speak from experience:hehe:
